1. Character Creation
Character names must resemble a realistic name.
Character names cannot be names of celebrities or famous people.
Character names must not match your out of character name or alias.

2. Harassment
You’re not allowed to leak information of another person or make threats. You’re not allowed to intimidate players from playing on the server or continuously harass them in-game for out of character reasons.
I (Ameraa) speaking on the behalf of ladies, gentlemen please don't harass the ladies! We're not "treeshes" or "babas" because you said so, NO means NO! Don't FORCE the ERP with us! We take this just as serious as IRL! We want everyone to feel comfortable in the EXOTIC RP community!

3. Public Chat and Advertisements
You’re not allowed to advertise any other server or platform.
All players must use English to communicate and in character chat must be English only.
You’re not allowed to put up unrealistic or illegal ads on twitter, yellow pages, etc.

4. Interactions
Sexual, torture or extremely gross roleplay is allowed only if all parties involved (participants and witnesses) have agreed to it in an out of character chat prior to the roleplay being performed and not in a public area. If       at any time you feel uncomfortable with the roleplay you can void it and leave the roleplay.
Scenarios such as rape and consensual touching are prohibited.
Players breaking the rules doesn’t mean the roleplay stops, if you have an issue with the player submit a report in-game or on the forums. Players trying to meet someone via stream sniping isn’t allowed. If you're
found to be stream sniping you will be permanently banned and un-whitelisted from the server.
Players may take pictures with their phone using the emote. They may record using a camera. The camera may pick up audio if the player is in range to hear the audio (not through walls/glass etc).
All players must follow the Twitch Terms of Service. Click here to view them.
All players must remain in character unless an administrator says otherwise. Players may not void roleplay or any scenario unless an administrator says otherwise. You must follow all administrator instructions.
You are not allowed to commit crimes on motorcycles but you can evade pull overs.

5. Properties and Furniture
Furniture must not block any entries or exits.
Stash spots must be accessible and not be blocked by any furniture.
All furniture placed down must be realistic and follow real world physics.

6. Real World Trading
You’re not allowed to trade any in-game items for out of game currency.

7. Common Courtesy
All players should treat others with respect. You’re not allowed to break the rules because someone else did. You shouldn’t disrupt, stall or void roleplay unless an administrator tells you too.
Examples; Quitting the game to avoid roleplay, Repeatedly refusing to roleplay If you come across a bug or exploit on any of our services you’re required to report it. Exploiting it and using it will result in a permanent
ban and it's your obligation to report rule-breakers as well.

8. Metagaming
Metagaming is defined as using out of character information in character. Inciting someone else to metagame is against this rule.
Examples:
- John Doe reads something from out of character chat and roleplays knowing that in-character.
- Jane Smith reads something from twitch chat and roleplays knowing that in-character.
Using out of game communications like Discord, Skype, etc. to communicate in character while in-game is forbidden.

9. Powergaming
Powergaming can be defined as performing acts that are not human like;
forcing roleplay on others without giving them a fair chance;
making up things which did not happen so that you can benefit;
roleplaying things which are not possible script-wise so that you can gain an unfair advantage.

Examples:
Actively organizing people or giving orders while you’re down.
You should only be roleplaying your injuries or with the Police Department /Fire Department when downed.
Sprinting and fighting as soon as you leave the hospital or revived by medics.
Roleplaying an item is on you when you don’t have it script wise.
Fighting after you've been knocked out.
Entering a vehicle and stealing all items without roleplay.

10. New Life Rule (Player Killed)
If you’re downed and respawn at the hospital your character forgets the immediate events leading up to being down in the current scenario and past events.
A player may not return to the area of their death for at least 15 minutes or attempt to retrieve lost possessions from involved players.
Player A is killed in a robbery by Player B.
The knowledge of the robbery, the specific memory of the moments leading up to their death aren’t to be remembered.
Player A gets killed during a confrontation with Player B. Player A respawns and continues going on about the same situation and remembering Player B.

11. Abuse of Game Physics
Grand Theft Auto Five physics and movements in-game are hardcoded and cannot be changed via scripting so the following is forbidden to avoid non-roleplay situations:
Rooftop Combat (I.e: Shooting at your enemies from a roof)
Bunnyhopping (I.e: jumping while running around to gain speed in a situation)
Spam Punching (I.e: spam clicking mouse 1 in a fight and not giving someone a chance to react).
Combat Rolling (I.e: rolling in a shootout, etc.)
Olympic Swimming (I.e: swimming without roleplay any exhaustion)
Drive By as Driver (I.e: shooting from the driver seat)
Abuse of jobs (I.e: spawning a job vehicle to evade police, etc).
Unrealistic driving (I.e: Stunt jumps, etc).
Clothing (I.e: using clothing for jobs like Police or Fire and you don't have the job, etc).

12. Third Party Modifications
Third party modifications are defined as using a program, software that gives you an unfair advantage over other players. This includes the following; mods, trainers, crosshair monitor, etc.

13. Safezones
A no crime zone is an area where player(s) may not commit any crimes.
If the player that you’re attacking flees to a safezone then the roleplay is allowed to continue. You should not be waiting outside of a safe-zone to commit a robbery or any crime at all.

Safezones:
All government offices, law enforcement offices, hospitals, and banks.
Tequila La-la (Inside)
Los Santos Airport
Bus Depot
Government Buildings
Impound
Benny's (Inside)
Car Dealerships
Taco Shop (Inside)
Car Sales Lot
Inside Clothing Store

14. Valuing Life
All players must value their characters life:
Treat your character as you would treat yourself. If someone has a gun to your head you would most likely comply and put your hands up.
If someone has a hostage during a situation, you must value the hostages life and you would want the safety of the hostage.
When driving a vehicle, you must value your characters life.

Examples of when you’re not in direct danger:
When you’re in a vehicle and the engine isn’t stalled.
When you have a firearm drawn and facing the other person before they attack.
When the attacker’s view is obstructed by an object or when they turn their back on you.

15. Police Interactions
You cannot shoot at police unless you are in the original pursuit for a serious violent crime (ex. Murder, Armed Robbery.)
You must treat all police officers realistically and treat them as having multiple units of back up even if only one is online.
You are not allowed to flee from police after they bring you to the hospital.

16. Deathmatching
Killing another person without a sufficient roleplay reason (deathmatching) is not allowed. Unnecessary provoking falls under this rule as well.
If you are spinning a factions block you MUST interact with the individuals before you start shooting, for example you are Westide Ave. Piru and y’all are at beef with 94 Deuce Hoover Criminals, you can spin the block once to get their attention and on the next time you spin you can do a “/me points gun at individuals and starts shooting”. and then you can start shooting. This saves all the toxicity and reports of RDM. If both Factions agree that all individuals can attack without interaction then it is allowed, But if it’s not agreed upon you must follow the rule as stated. Terrorism is strictly forbidden.
This also includes revenge killing — when you respawn after being executed and then kill (or at least attempt to) the person who has just murdered you.
Your In Character memory is wiped off everything that led up to your death when you are killed, so you should forget about your attacker.

Examples;
John Doe has killed you over a legitimate in character reason and you respawned without being saved by the Police Department/Fire Department so you get a gun from your house and go back and kill him.
Jane Smith spits on your shoes so you withdraw your firearm and shoot them for it.
You provoke a fist fight with two people who are unarmed and then you pull your firearm out and kill them.
Players cannot provoke a situation or another player without valid reasons behind it.

17. /Me’s and /Do’s
/me - A /me is an expression and/or action done by the respected player. Ones /me may contain what they're wearing, mood, tattoos, something they're doing, and so forth. It's exclusively used to describe one's self.
/do - A /do is used to truthfully describe an active scenario and it is used to answer roleplay that would've been answered realistically. Due to limitations via script and game, you have to actually roleplay it.
/me Examples;
Acceptable:
/me sports a Texas Rangers fitted hat.
/me has the Seattle Mariners S logo plastered across his neck.
/me fires up the blunt.
/me laughs hysterically.
/me is visibly upset.
Unacceptable:
/me SHAKE ASS
a /me using all capital letters.
a /me without punctuation.
No curse words in /me or /do.
/me ignores lame ass niggas for capping.
Try not to use nicknames in /me's either. Use individual, person, or if you know their name, type their actual name out. If you don't know their name from an OOC level or IC level, just use what was suggested.
/do Examples;
Acceptable:
/me thoroughly looks through his back pockets. (Then you'd follow up with the following) /do Would I find your wallet in your back right or left pocket? (Then the player being robbed would respond) /do You'd find my wallet in my back right pocket. /do You'd find $20 dollars, ID, and old credit cards.
/do The vicinity would reek of marijuana and cigarette smoke.
/do Would I smell marijuana in the vehicle?
/do Loud music erupts from the vehicle.
/do Would you resist arrest?
/do The neighborhood would be plastered with gang-related graffiti.
Unacceptable:
/do Where would the firearm be? (This is powergame especially they didn't actually roleplay looking for it)
Lying in a /do isn't acceptable whatsoever. This is also considered powergame.

18. Faction Interactions & Shooting Interactions
There is no max to the amount of people who can shoot back if you are on your respected turf (aka) your block.
There is no max amount of people to an interaction, for example say there is two gangs at the clothing store having a argument and it turns into a brawl, if someone starts shooting all of the individuals who are involved in the brawl can start shooting back. I don’t want to see any forced RP, but if these interactions were terrible RP be prepared for everyone involved to catch a one day or a kick.
If a faction is going to slide another factions block a max of four people are allowed. This also goes for if you’re going around the city looking for anyone who you’re trying to physically attack.
There is a 35 minute cool down until you can slide or attack another faction. This goes for any sort of attack, a fist fight, a stabbing, or a shooting.
If you die in a shootout to a cop you are forced to ck. If you refuse and are seen on that character and it isn’t to transfer your items that character will be deleted and you will receive a week ban.

20. 10 Minute Danny Rule
When spawning in, you have about 10 minutes to get out of the default clothing. If we see any Danny's running around, you'll be INSTANTLY kicked. The ONLY exception you get is if your clothing menu glitches! Then you'll be making your way to a clothing store/barbershop. We are planning on turning EXOTIC RP into a whitelisted server.

21. CK & PK
The Difference between a CK and a PK, A CK is a full character kill, that character won’t be able to be played on anymore. The character  is fully dead and it’s items can’t be touched until letting an admin know and getting approval. Also no one can force you to CK but make it realistic if you get shot in the head multiples times point blank consider CK’ing. A PK is when you decide to Player kill, it means you forget all the events that led up to the interaction of your characters “death”. ALSO IF YOUR ON YOUR SIDE YOU ARE WOUNDED IT IS NOT A CK OR A PK, once you are on your back is when you choose to either CK or PK.
Do not move any player that is on there side or back. Once they are down they are down and must wait until EMS or PD can arrive to the scene. If they don’t you may PK or CK on your own.
